On January 24th we were in Reno at the Safari Club International convention. Keagan was chosen as the Young Hunter of the Year for 2008 and he received his award at a banquet which about 3000 people were in attendance. He had to give a short speech and he recieved a trophy of a bronze deer and a $500 gift certificate from Cabelas. He was pretty excited and nervous but he delivered his speech well and we were very proud parents.
This blogging thing is a great idea and can be a great way to see what we are all doing.

I enlarged the picture by clicking it so I got a good look at Keagan. He surely has changed for the little kid that used to come around. Congratulations Keagan!!!!
